Tanah Lot means “Land in the middle of the sea” in Balinese language. This tourism object is located in Beraban Village, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency, about 20 km from Denpasar. At the north direction we can find a temple built on the rock jutting out to the sea. Based on the history, this temple was built by a holy priest named Danghyang Nirartha on 15th century.
